I’m so excited to share these even though I’ve been meaning to play keep up and post a lot of other photos I’ve already done first, I just can’t help but put these on here! I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites to share, but here are just a few of them. (I have a feeling I’ll be showing a slideshow of even more of them eventually!) I’ll also be back to share photos that I’ve been meaning to put up here for a while soon!
I’m so excited to share these twins with y’all. It has been so much fun not only getting to take photos of these little guys, but being friends with their parents, means I’ve gotten to hold them plenty of times now and holding babies never gets old!

Photographing newborns seems to be about the best job in the world there is! I think they all have a different attitude about someone coming into their new home and setting them in a good light source and taking their clothes off to accentuate their newness and innocence. I think out of all the newborns I’ve photographed so far, even though they have all done great, this one was a true champ! She barely cried the whole time I was there, she took a good nap, just like she was suppose to and being so cute doesn’t hurt either! Here are just a few of my favorites. I just love how her hair has this little curly-q!
I had so much fun taking photos of this sweet little newborn. So many new things I was able to try out with her. I have soooo many favorites, so these are just a few. Enjoy!
So in all the time I have done portrait photography so far, I’ve found it most enjoyable to be able to form a relationship with my clients. So I’ve decided to start a new special (that won’t expire) for anyone interested in having me as their photographer for your child’s first year of life, which will also include a maternity session and birth photography, if desired. So here are the details: You will receive up to 7 separate sessions, which over the course of a year plus a little extra before your child is born, figures to be about 15 months worth of photography. If you choose not to do the birth photography session, I will swap it out for a 1st birthday party event session. I will give you a disc of digital negatives for each of these sessions, with 20 photos in black and white and color (You will be able to choose from 25-30 proofs) all for just $1,500. Now that might sound like a lot, but it’s a huge deal and it will be paid out over the approximate 15 months, so that’s only $100/month. I’m happy to take as many of these specials on as I can and am willing to work on some other great deals if your child has already been born and is a little older already.
Here are the sessions all listed out for you:
1. Maternity (20 digital negatives)
2. Birth* (50 digital negatives) – as many hours as it takes
3. Newborn (20 digital negatives)
4. 3 months (20 digital negatives)
5. 6 months (20 digital negatives)
6. 9 months (20 digital negatives)
7. 12 months (20 digital negatives)
*swap out a birth photography session for a 1st birthday party event session (50 digital negatives)
And now, for some photos. I had once-in-a-lifetime experience to be able to help out a fellow photographer friend, Elle, of Ella Bella Photography, who took some awesome photos of these quints. She let me snap a few here and there while I had the job of assisting her most of the time, making sure the photographing of the babies went as smoothly as possible. So these aren’t technically newborns, of course, but they still sure do look it! They all slept perfectly for the individual shots she did of them and I only had time to snap one quick photo of them all together since it was a little harder to get them all happy at the same time for those shots. Anyway, I had a ton of fun and it will be a lot of fun getting to see them grow up, as I’m sure Elle now has the opportunity to photograph them over the course of their life. Maybe I’ll even get to assist her again someday!

So I haven’t posted anything on here in a while and I’m still trying to catch up on my other blog, but I wanted to post some photos I took soon after Rhett was born. His birthday was Easter Sunday 3/23/08… I hope to take some more photos of him soon and we will be able to see how much he has grown! Anyway, these are just a few of my favorites! I went overboard taking photos of him and had a lot to give to his parents! Oh and by the way, I’m sure you will notice my new watermark/logo. I had it done by a wonderful photography friend, Jayme.
