So I’ve decided to blog about the subject of joy on Tuesday’s. I thought it was pretty fitting to share with you all the joy there is to find in these photos. This couple had so much fun doing this, had tons of ideas to share and kept me laughing the whole time. I can’t wait to do newborn photos for them!
I had so much fun taking these and I think you can tell they did too. I don’t have anything else to say, I think these photos speak pretty well for themselves.
I took some maternity photos on Sunday and I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to look at them until now. I put together a few photos for a sneak peek. I had a lot of fun doing these and I can’t wait to sit down and do the finishing touches on these!
So as some of you know, I’ve recently bought a pretty nice camera. It’s a Nikon digital SLR. I really have enjoyed taking photos with it, much more than any other camera I’ve ever picked up and have really found a new hobby. However, I’ve also considered going away from an architecture/design field and doing photography as more than just a hobby someday. Of course I’d still like to raise Colton and any other child or children we may have in the future, but I feel like this would be a fairly fun and enjoyable thing to make a job out of some day. So as part of that “dream” I thought I would go ahead and start taking photos (portraits) to get a portfolio together, get experience in this whole thing, before I think about charging anyone for the photos I take! So I had the opportunity to take some maternity photos of a friend of mine. We are so excited for them to have this baby come into their lives and I was very happy to give them some hopefully good pictures they will cherish. I also get to take photos of him once he comes out, so I can’t wait for that experience! I ended up with about 50 pictures to give them that I think will give them a lot to choose from. These are just some of my personal favorites!
