Newborn sneak peeks!

I’m so excited to share these even though I’ve been meaning to play keep up and post a lot of other photos I’ve already done first, I just can’t help but put these on here! I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites to share, but here are just a few of them. (I have a feeling I’ll be showing a slideshow of even more of them eventually!) I’ll also be back to share photos that I’ve been meaning to put up here for a while soon!

News, news and more news!

Well, after being MIA on here for so long, surely something had to be going on. I’ve been busy, as usual, but I’ve got some extra stuff on my plate now. In addition to the wedding photography side starting up and doing great, we’ve also decided to add on to our family. No, not a puppy, another baby! I’m PREGNANT! I’m due September 30th and hope to have the baby via another c-section about a week before that. So I’ve just gotten out of the first trimester, had similar nausea to my past pregnancy, so I feel I’m pretty lucky with how my body is able to adjust. I have had quite a few naps these past few months and for the most part, I’m over that now, since I’m not a napper, it’s pretty strange for me to take naps in the middle of the day. But anyway, I’ve been taking it easy and of course working on taxes anytime I’m not resting. I think things are looking up though and getting better…..and I can’t wait to show off some photos I’ve been saving up. As soon as the taxes are done, I’ll get on it!

In other news, I’ll be out at Founder’s Day in Dripping Springs this weekend, I’ll have a booth set up with lots of photos to show! I’ve got a few things to give away, so come by if you get a chance!

And lastly, for my wedding clients, please let me know if you have any concerns with this news of me announcing I’m pregnant. I’ve already personally contacted the only bride that I feel would be affected by this news. I’m planning on not taking on any weddings for the whole month of August and September and possibly only taking photos at the only wedding I have currently booked in October. Other than that, I feel I should be able to take on a few portrait sessions during that time and focus on having a healthy baby and healthy momma!

Sorry there was no photo of the week last week. It was a crazy, busy week, that flew by too fast for me! This week I opted for a simple shot, which isn’t always easy to get. First of all, you have to have beautiful blue skies out, which you just never know if it will happen or not. Then you have to find some really cool clouds that have formed. Lastly, you have to find the time to pull out your camera and take the photo! I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity this time and hopefully I’ll be able to capture some beautiful sunsets soon as well. Anyway, for now, here is my simple photo of the sky, with a really neat, whispy cloud!

This week I had the chance to take some fun photos of some very cold weather. It usually doesn’t get cold enough for these kind of photos, but when it happens, you have to get out in the cold to take at least a couple of photos (it really didn’t feel that cold!) Anyway, here is my favorite capture of my trip. First of all, Happy New Year! A new tradition I’m starting this year is to post a photo every week of something I’ve taken in the past week. So this first one is a little late already, but anyway, I have to start somewhere. Doyle, my husband and I have started on a new venture of photographing weddings. It’s never really something I thought I would do, at least by myself. But after hearing Doyle commit to going to weddings with me, being my assistant and second shooter, I decided to go for it! I recently took some photos of a beautiful bride, who has actually been married a few years now and my friend, Elyse, and I took some photos of her. She was so awesome to let us do this and I’m very excited about how they turned out. I showed quite a few at the Bridal Extravaganza in San Antonio we were at this past Sunday, along with this album, my photo of the week. Holiday family sneak peeks!

I took some photos the other day at this awesome ranch in the hill country. I’ve been busy trying to do a ton of different things at once and slowly checking some things off of my to do list, but wanted to take a little time to get these sneak peeks up for them. I had so much fun doing these and I’m sure you will agree with how adorable this little girl is! Hope everyone has a happy thanksgiving!

This santa hat is my new favorite prop! I can’t wait to take more photos of cute babies in it!

It’s so hard to believe how quickly these boys are growing up! I’m so excited to have gotten the opportunity to photograph them on their 3 month birthday! I also got one of their big brother, who was really hard to track down and get him interested in staying still for me long enough to snap a shot or two. Silly boy…he was so good at taking photos when he was younger, I bragged on him all the time because he was so easy!
